Who we are
Tony Pletikosic, DO
Dr. Tony is a board-certified primary care physician with over nine years of experience serving and training within his local community. His approach to care emphasizes building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and working collaboratively to support lasting health and wellness. He is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
Dr. Tony earned his undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University, graduating in the top 20% of his class, and went on to complete his medical training at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Since 2016, Dr. Tony has been dedicated to caring for the Aurora and surrounding communities—initially as a resident physician for three years, and subsequently as an attending physician for an additional six years within the University Hospitals Health System.
As the founder of Vitalan Health, Dr. Tony is focused on creating a more personalized, patient-centered healthcare experience that prioritizes accessibility, trust, and high-quality care.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Tony enjoys spending time with his wife, Karolina, who cares for their two sons, Teo and Zlatko. In his free time, he stays active by playing pickup soccer and enjoying the outdoors
Megan
Megan is a certified Medical Assistant with nearly 15 years of experience at University Hospitals where she had the privilege of serving in multiple roles, including Practice Lead.
Throughout her career, she focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting teams and streamlining healthcare operations.
Megan also holds an associate degree in Heathcare Management, which has helped her blend hands-on care with a broader perspective on the medical field.
Outside of work, Megan is a proud mom to Frankie and Anthony. She loves spending time with her husband, Mitch - especially watching football together - and relaxing at home with their dog, Daisy.
Every day, whether at work or with her family, she’s passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where people feel supported, heard, and valued.
